Coleman Aerospace's air-launch capability allows the launch of missiles or rockets from cargo aircraft, anywhere in the world, at any azimuth/orbit inclination.

The flight of Coleman's Short Range Air Launch Target (SRALT) marked the first time the US conducted a successful launch mission of a ballistic-missile-class target after being extracted from a C-130 cargo aircraft. The test was performed over a remote area in the Pacific Ocean.
Under the Long Range Air Launch Target (LRALT) contract with the US Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Coleman developed a two-stage launch vehicle for testing of theater missile defense systems. Similar to SRALT, the LRALT was extracted via parachute from a military C-17 cargo aircraft,
Coleman's air launch capability expands the suite of ballistic missile targets and provides our nation's tactical interceptor programs with targets that can be located anywhere and continue to replicate.
