Coleman Aerospace's commitment to excellence begins with customer relationships. We strive to achieve the most favorable outcome and exceed customer expectations. As you review our core competencies-- Technical, Operational, and Support Services--you will see that we have the skill and expertise needed to provide the highest level of quality to our customers. Engineering - Coleman Aerospace system engineering capabilities span the full gament of system development from concept development through component design and fabrication to system integration field test, and operational support. For example we design, build, and fly sophisticated launch vehicles and reentry vehicles for customers such as the Missile Defense Agency, Lockheed Martin, the US Airforce, the US Army, NASA, etc. We also design cargo container security systems for the department of Homeland Security. Coleman employs all of the requisite engineering disciplines and skills including: mission analysis; requirements analysis and trade studies; modeling, simulations and performance analysis; systems architecture definition; real-time embedded software; radar cross section analysis; and guidance, navigation, and control.
Manufacturing - Coleman Aerospace manufacturing capabilities enable us to deliver on time at competitive costs. We employ computerized planning and scheduling, an extensive testing capability, and complete process engineering support at all stages. Our quality system is ISO 9001 certified by an independent third party.
Air Launch - Coleman Aerospace is the preeminent developer and supplier of air launched targets that simulate theater ballistic missiles. The successful flight of our Short Range Air Launch Target (SRALT) in 1999 marked the first time the US conducted a successful air launch mission of a ballistic missile target.
Ground Launch - Coleman Aerospace offers a family of theater ballistic missile (TBM) targets based on a common launch vehicle combined with a variety of reentry vehicles and a suite of test and support equipment.
Space Launch - Coleman Aerospace's space launch experience includes the Small Expendable Launch Vehicle Services (SELVS) contract with NASA under which we developed a concept for their Alternate Access to Station (AAS) initiative, and a contract with DARPA to develop the Responsive Access, Small Cargo, and Affordable Launch (RASCAL) concept.
Advanced Programs - Coleman Aerospace designs cargo container security systems for the department of Homeland Security. These systems are engineered to detect stowaways, threat substances, and other contraband in sealed cargo containers. Coleman Aerospace supports the Multiple Kill Vehicle (MKV) program with a variety of systems engineering services, including requirements analysis, modeling and simulation, trade studies and system performance assessment.
