Life at CRC

California is leading the way in the energy transition, and CRC is delivering solutions to continue meeting the energy demands of today while tackling the critical challenges of tomorrow head on. We have amazing assets, remarkable people, and we are committed to building a brighter future in California.

We are charting the path required to power California with the cleanest energy possible, but our goals require that we retain the best and the brightest by meeting them on their life and career path. We offer workplace flexibility, parental leave, and plenty of paid time off to enjoy all that California has to offer.

Our Commitment
to our Workforce

The primary factor in our success is each other. We recognize that a motivated, well-trained, and diverse workforce is a strong competitive advantage. CRC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and our recruiting, training and career development programs are designed to help all employees realize their full potential. We have a diverse workforce of exceptional talent, and this diversity enriches our employees' experience on the job and contributes to an effective business model that helps local communities thrive.

Our Commitment
to our Local Communities

We not only take care of our employees, but have a strong commitment to where we live and work as well. This includes delivering on and exceeding methane reduction goals, supplying approximately 4.75 billion gallons of treated, reclaimed water in 2023 to neighboring agriculture, as well as giving back to our local communities by providing nearly $17 million since 2015 to local non-profits and organizations.

Our Commitment
to Safety

At CRC, we have an unwavering commitment to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and contractors.

We maintain stringent health, safety and environmental policies at every work site. All CRC employees and contractors are required to follow these policies and take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their co-workers, including the right, without repercussions, to stop any job or task that they perceive may be unsafe.

We also expect and require employees, contractors and visitors to immediately report accidents as well as unsafe practices and conditions.

CRC consistently ranks among the safest companies in the United States with a better safety performance than many non-industrial sectors. In recognition of the exemplary safety performance of our workforce, CRC and our regional operations received 22 National Safety Achievement Awards in 2024 with respect to our 2023 performance. In addition, CRC's 2023 Injury and Illness Incidence Rate (IIR) – the number of recordable injuries and illnesses of employees and contractors per 100 workers – was 0.31. For comparison, this rate is better than the rest of the oil and natural gas industry as well as most other sectors including finance, insurance and real estate – as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor.
