You may elect for your payments to be directly deposited into your bank account via our electronic fund transfer (EFT) option. Selecting EFT will prevent lost, stolen or mail delayed checks and is safe and secure. To submit a request for EFT, please submit the Direct Deposit Request form by email at crc@ownerrelationsupport.com, fax at 866-802-0704, or via mail to:

If you need to transfer your account, please refer to the Transfer Instructions and Requirements document. This document provides the CRC requirements for several different transfer scenarios, (ex: sold property or deceased individual), but please keep in mind that you may be required to provide additional documentation, depending on your specific circumstances. Transfer Instructions and Requirements

• W-9 - Resident aliens and United States citizens may provide CRC with a W-9 form for certification EINs, ITINs or SSNs, and to avoid federal tax withholding on their rental or royalty payments. Please contact your tax advisor for tax advice.
• California Form 590 - California residents (individuals or businesses that have a permanent place of business, excluding P.O. Boxes) are exempt from California state withholding and should complete a California Form 590 to certify that they are a California resident. Please contact your tax advisor for tax advice.
• California Form 587 - California nonresidents are generally subject to California state withholding and should complete a California Form 587. A California Form 587 is used to determine the amount of income sourced to California (as indicated in Part IV of the Form), when withholding is required on a payment to a nonresident. Please contact your tax advisor for tax advice.
• California Form 588 - A Nonresident Withholding Waiver Request (California Form 588) is used to request a waiver on withholding payments of California source income to nonresident payees. Once the waiver has been accepted by the State of California, an approval will be mailed to the payee which in turn needs to be provided to CRC in order to avoid California state withholding on rental and royalty payments. The Form 588 may be used if a taxpayer cannot meet one of the exemptions listed in the Form 590, above. Part I information available upon request. Please contact your tax advisor for tax advice.
• W-8 Forms - The series of Forms W-8 are used by non-resident aliens to certify their foreign status and provides foreigners with an exemption from certain U.S. information return reporting and backup withholding regulations. These forms are not intended for resident aliens or legal citizens of the United States. There are a variety of W-8 forms, which include the W-8BEN, W-8ECI, W-8BEN-E, W-8IMY and the W-8EXP.
